This is a two-day live webinar presentation on the contemporary TCM approach in the management of Hypo and hyperthyroidism by Professor Ni Qing from the endocrinology Department of the Guangan’men Hospital in Beijing. The event was very well supported with a total number of more than 75 attendees from countries such as the Netherlands and England in Europe and Australia-wide and New Zealand.

What you will learn from this two-day presentations is the contemporary TCM approach of how to fast-track the chemical pathology outcomes of the disease parameters.

In recent years, research on modern pharmacology of Chinese medicine has achieved important results. Most of the results on herbs can be combined with the traditional Chinese Medicine pattern identification to enhance the blood tests indicators of many contemporary diseases . To cite an example, the Shang Han Lun formula Ge Gen Qin Lian Tang is indicated for treatment of heat-related diarrhoea. Clinically, this formula can be used to treat diabetes because the combination of Ge Gen , Huang Qin and Huang Lian can effectively reduce the elevated blood sugar for diabetes patients. Other herbs such as Hong Qu and Huai Niu Xi can reduce blood pressure etc.

Professor Ni Qing will share with you some of key idodine containing Chinese herbs and when and how to apply them. In addition, Professor Ni Qing will feature the different symptoms of hyper and hypothyroidism and how to incorporate some key herbs associated with the management of these related symptoms.
